5 Ways Cookies Taste Better Without Milk

Milk and cookies. Every child’s delight and every adult’s favourite childhood memory. But cookies can do a lot better than just milk. And we’re here to show you how!

1. Ice Cream Cookies

Ice cream and cookies taste great. When together, they taste divine!

Ingredients: 4 cups ice cream of choice, 2 packets of Parliament cookies

Directions: Dollop 1.5 spoons of ice cream onto cookie and top with second cookie. Freeze for 4 hrs to overnight. Serve cold, line ice cream by rolling cookies like wheels on choco chips.

2. Cookie Shake

Milk and cookies? How about cookies in milk!

Ingredients: 1 packet of Parliament Cookies, 1 cup milk, 1 cup ice cream of choice, toppings of choice

Directions: To prepare this delicious shake recipe, take a bowl and coarsely crush the cookies in it. You don't need to powder them, they should be crushed enough to be blended into a shake. Now, pour milk and chocolate syrup in a blender. Also, add cookies and ice-cream in the blender. Blend well all the ingredients until combined completely. Crush and crumble some cookies in a bowl. You can also put them in a plastic bag and pound them with a rolling pin for the purpose. Pour the prepared milkshake into a glass. Finally, top the milkshake with the crumbled cookies. Serve cold with a straw!

3. No-bake Mini Chocolate Tarts

The only tart that’s easy to make, like it is eat!

Ingredients: 2 packets of Parliament Cookies, 5 spoons melted butter, ½ cup chopped chocolate, ½ cup cream, ½ cup chocolate frosting

Directions: Crush 2 packets of cookies until coarse and crumbly. Mix in butter and press into mini tart moulds. Freeze cookie tart moulds until firm. Warm up cream. Take off heat and add chopped chocolate. Cool down and add chocolate frosting. Take chocolate mixture and pipe onto tart moulds or dollop into moulds. Chill and serve cold.

4. Chocolate covered cookies

What’s better that milk and cookies? Cookies and chocolate!

Ingredients: 2 packets of Parliament Cookies, ½ cup chopped chocolate, ½ cup cream

Directions: Warm up cream. Take off heat and add chopped chocolate. Let cool. Dip cookies into chocolate and rest on a lined tray. Garnish with berries, compote or zest and serve.

5. Cookie Truffles

Bite sized pieces of heaven

Ingredients: 1/4th cup vanilla frosting, 2 packets of parliament cookies, 1/2chopped chocolate, ½ cup cream, 1/4th cup chopped strawberries

Directions: Crush cookies and add frosting and chopped strawberries. Form cookies mixture into balls and chill. Warm up cream and add to chopped chocolate. Let cool. Dunk cookie mixture balls into chocolate and chill. Garnish with powdered sweet cocoa and serve cold.
